ICA Live Art Festival Launch Event

Join us for the official launch of the ICA Live Art Festival programme. In anticipation of the festival, which runs from the 10-26 February, ICA Director Jay Pather will introduce the programme on Thursday the 2nd February at 6 Spin Street, Cape Town. Running through the 34 projects that comprise the festival's impressive line-up, the presentation will last approximately an hour. A number of artists featured on the festival will be present, and printed versions of the programme will be available. Refreshments will be served. 

The 2017 ICA Live Art Festival programme features screenings, performances, artworks and interactive installations by over thirty contemporary artists and curators, including: Standard Bank Young Artist Award-winners Donna Kukama and Anthea Moys; Nigerian multimedia artist, Jelili Atiku; acclaimed choreographer and performer, Mamela Nyamza; British-Ghanaian visual artist, Larry Achiampong; Malawian-born artist and writer, Samson Kambalu; New York-based performance artist nora chipaumire and pioneering South African performance artist, Steven Cohen.
